His Origin - Part 1
Darkness. Everything Shadow the Hedgehog could see at the moment. He began to slowly open his eyes, allowing the light rays to clear his vision little by little. When he finally opened his eyes, he tried to take a look at wherever he was.
Apparently, it was some sort of research laboratory, easy to tell due to the circular room he was at, with a big observation glass above him on the wall. He was bound to a chair by some sort of rope that completely restrained him. He searched for a possible sign of Rouge or Omega, to no avail.
"Enjoying your stay, hedgehog? Sorry for the lack of comfort, but I thought chaos-proof material was just your 'thing'"
A voice was heard coming from the room. It was heavily altered and metallic, as if the person was speaking through a radio or transmitter. The first time we were both sitting in the room together, getting ready to take the math test that would determine our placement. I was scatterbrained and throwing things around, trying to find the pencils that I had known I would need but had still just tossed in my purse. He was lounging backwards in his chair, looking for all the world as though he didn’t have a single care in the world, including the upcoming test. It annoyed me, that I was frantic and ready to scream, while someone else could be that relaxed.
I tested out of the class.
I don’t know if he did.
The second time I saw him, it was a few months after I arrived on campus. He was the one rushing and frantic this time, running across the square. He was probably late for class, though I had no way of knowing for sure.
